ENA 2019 Cultural Exchange Trip

Join ENA for a 10-day Cultural Exchange trip to Amsterdam and Sweden.  The structure of the trip invites participants to explore the unique cultures of each country visited, while also learning about the healthcare in each country. 

Please complete the registration form for this trip. If you intend to room with a friend or colleague, please ensure they also complete their own registration form.

Maximum number of participants for this trip is 50. Once we reach the threshold, we will begin a wait list. You will be notified of your status should we meet the maximum number of participants.

Pricing is based on double occupancy. Participants may select the single supplement (single room) option listed under additional items, which is an additional fee and based on limited availability. 

If you do not indicate a preferred roommate in the section provided, we will do our best to match you with another traveler. However, if we are unable to match you with another traveler you may incur the single room fee listed below. 

Please note the pricing shown is the lowest possible fare for this trip. Single supplements (single room), excursions, and land only options may increase the overall cost of the trip. Please refer to the ENA website for the pricing breakdown based on number of participants.

Optional Excursions (Additional Fee)

Below are the descriptions of the optional excursions available at an additional fee. Should you like to participate in any of those listed please ensure you have checked the box under "additional items" in the previous section. 

Amsterdam, Netherlands

All excursions listed below are based on a minimum of 20 passengers. The excursion will not occur if the minimum threshold is not met and your fee will be refunded and/or subtracted from your full trip amount. 
EDAM TOUR (Full-Day) - October 15, 2019: $76.50 per person

Excursion to Zaanse-Schans, Volendam, and Edam

Visit the open-air museum in Zaanse-Schans where you will see a variety of windmills that can also be visited form the inside. Take a look over the clog-makers shoulders or buy fresh Dutch cheese. Continue to Volendam on the ljsselmeer. Volendam is a picturesque fishing village with the typical little houses, canals, and drawbridges. After a short stay, the journey continues to Edam. Just like Alkmaar, Edam also enjoys the international reputation as a cheese town. Only few people are aware of the fact that Edam is one of the best preserved cities of the former Zuiderzee.
KINDERDIJK TOUR (Full-Day) - October 15, 2019: $89.00 per person

Excursion to Kinderdijk, Delft, and Gouda

Visit Kinderdijk - the so-called "mill road." The windmills of Kinderdijk are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will see 19 windmills near the village of Kinderdijk, about 15 kilometers southwest of Rotterdam. There are two large groups of 8 mills in the east and 8 mills in the southeast of the village. One of the mills can also be visited from the inside (optional). Afterwards the journey continues to Delft. Explore the wonderful old town with its approx. 600 historical buildings and dozens of idyllic little bridges and canals. Not to be missed: a visit of a porcelain manufactory (optional), where the famous "Delft Blue" is produced. In the early afternoon continue to Gouda, the city of cheese, syrup wafers and the candles, but also the city of the pipes of Gouda, the ceramics, this historical monuments and listed facades. Visit monuments like the Gothic town hall from 1450 in the old town center or the St. Jan's Church which is world famous for its beautiful 15th century stained-glass windows. Of course, a visit of a cheese dairy (optional) is recommended in order to take the famous Gouda. 
1- Hour Canal Tour (Non-Private) - October 15, 2019: $16.88 per person

This hour-long cruise takes you through the unique UNESCO World Heritage-listed canal district of Amsterdam, giving you the opportunity to take in many of the historic sights of the city center.

Stockholm, Sweden

*All excursions listed below are based on a minimum of 20 passengers. The excursion will not occur if the minimum threshold is not met and your fee will be refunded and/or subtracted from your full trip amount.*
DROTTNINGHOLM TOUR - October 19, 2019: $65.24 per person

Step aboard a boat from the turn of the last century and take a trip to the pearl of Lake Malaren, Drottningholm Palace, the residence of the Swedish royal family. Drottningholm is set in luxuriant landscaped grounds and Drottningholm Palace Theatre is a piece of genuine Swedish cultural history, the Chinese Pavilion a work of art constructed by the hands of master craftsmen. 
VAXHOLM TOUR - October 20, 2019: $46.23 per person

Roundtrip cruise in the archipelagos, with a stop at Vaxholm. Idyllic archipelago town with many well-preserved wooden houses from the turn of the last century painted in the archipelago's typical pastel tones. Vaxholm has numerous charming restaurants, cafes, and shops.

Upon receipt of your registration form, you will be issued an invoice and your deposit will be due within one week.  You may pay by check, or online with a credit card.  Please note that all credit card charges will incur a 3% conversion fee.
All rooms are based on double occupancy.

*** Additional payment may be required if taxes & fuel surcharges increase before the entire group is ticketed.

Liability & Responsibility

Fellowship Travel International, Inc. serves only as an agent for ARC, IATAN, & other commercial air carriers & suppliers, & is not to be held responsible for any delays, defaults, cancellations, weather conditions, acts of terrorism, bankruptcy, or any other act that may affect the service or agreements of a particular carrier or supplier. The terms & conditions represented in the Group Travel Agreement are current with Fellowship Travel International's suppliers as of 7/13/15. Should the terms & conditions of this sales agreement change prior to completion of your trip, Fellowship Travel International will make every effort to notify you of such changes. However, the vendors set final terms & conditions & suppliers may or may not notify Fellowship Travel International of changes relevant to this agreement.

Client agrees to indemnify & hold Fellowship Travel harmless for any & all damages or penalties imposed & any attorney's fees incurred by Fellowship Travel in defending any such action resulting from Client's failure to provide truthful & accurate billing & claims information to Fellowship Travel.

This Service Agreement shall be interpreted under the laws of the State of Virginia & any disputes between the parties concerning the validity, interpretation or performance of any of the terms or provisions of this Agreement or of any rights or obligations of the parties hereto shall be resolved in Hanover County, Virginia. Should it become necessary for Fellowship Travel to retain an attorney to collect any amounts owed to Fellowship Travel under the terms of this Agreement, Fellowship Travel will be entitled to recover in addition to its damages, reasonable attorney's fees.

Name Changes

All fees & penalties assessed by the airline for name changes/corrections are the responsibility of the registrant.

Schedule Changes or Cancellation of Flights

The airline reserves the right to cancel flights, use substitute aircraft and/or alternative carriers and to make schedule changes at any time. Neither the airline, nor FTI, shall be liable for delays or cancellations due to weather or any other cause beyond the airline's control.

Fares & Currency

Some services may be based on foreign currencies. These charges have been converted to US dollars for the purpose of providing you a US dollar rate at the time this sales agreement was issued. Should a fluctuation of more than 3% in the exchange rate occur, we reserve the right to adjust the final price accordingly.

Fares are subject to be changed, voided & all penalties imposed unless the final payment deadline is met.
